About Diane

Dr. Ordway finished her BSc degree at Colorado State University in microbiology. She then spent several years working in London through a doctoral scholarship awarded to attend the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK (Ph.D. advisor, Professor Dockrell). She spent the majority of her time in Lisbon, Portugal and evaluated cellular responses in HIV patients co-infected with tuberculosis. Thereafter, her Postdoctoral Training at Hospital Egas Moniz, Lisbon, Portugal focused on conducting clinical trials for better immunological correlates of HAART efficacy in HIV seropositive patients. Over the past thirteen years she has built up her expertise evaluating the potential of novel vaccines, drugs, immunotherapeutics and biomarkers influence on the immune system in various animal model’s (mouse, guinea pig and rabbit model) to mycobacterial infection.
