Jeremy John Delcambre is originally from Monroe, Louisiana, and went to the University of Louisiana, Monroe. After a two-year stint as a surgical technician in (human) orthopedics, Dr. Delcambre began teaching anatomy while completing a master’s degree in Biology. His desire to pursue anatomic education led him to attend Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2009. Following his DVM degree, Dr. Delcambre completed a two year Post Doctoral fellowship at the University of Florid, where he instructed in various anatomy courses, and trained in multiple methods of specimen preparation, including embalming, dissection, maceration, and specimen articulation. Dr. Delcambre moved to Fort Collins in the summer of 2013, to begin working at Colorado State University, and now teaches in undergraduate, graduate, and DVM anatomy courses, including Large Animal and Exotic Anatomy electives. He serves as a faculty adviser for SAVMA, is on the DVM Admissions Committee, the DVM Scholastic Standards and Professionalism Committee, is a co-coordinator for the DVM ROLE Orientation Program, and pargticipates in collaborative research with clinicians at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. He also spearheads several DVM wellness initiatives including a student running group.
